Our students pursue interests in all aspects of drum set performance as well as jazz vibraphone, orchestral percussion and world percussion with an emphasis on Afro-Cuban music.
Workshops and a monthly jam session by invitation
Students are invited to attend one or all of the workshops that highlight what you are studying in an ensemble environment.
Recording studio
In our main studio we have a professional recording studio where we make projects to gain experience in recording and also running the studio.

11 accepted to leading colleges/conservatories. Including Manhattan, Eastman, Berklee, Northwestern. Previous students have entered and graduated from Juilliard, Rutgers San Francisco Conservatory and others.
Of those, they are now working in major orchestras, broadway and teaching/performing. We take students and turn them into colleagues.
Summer program by invitation
Audition required. Call for information- My wife Mineko Yajima accepts violin students. She is a Juilliard Graduate, a tenured principal member of Mostly Mozart Orchestra of Lincoln Center and long time member of Chamber Orchestra of St. Lukes.
